Sure Non-Stick Original
Sure Non-Stick Original material is of a brown appearance, and is our most durable with the ability to last over many many uses. Our Sure Non-Stick Original is made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This is an inherently hygienic, inert, easy to clean, and simple to use material which is non-toxic, synthetic, fluorocarbon-based polymer. PTFE’s excellent non-stick properties, high chemical resistance, and stability in wide temperature ranges make it an excellent material for thermal applications like baking sheets, transfer presses, and many more applications such as gluing, painting and craft mats. Exact reusable lifespan depends on how and what the product is being used for. This is by far our most popular material type. Recommended operating temperature ranges are from -40c0 to 260c0.
This material is available in 3 grades:-
* Fine being 0.08mm thick fabric. It is more flexible and is semi-transparent in appearance. Ideal for lining baking tins and as a tracing medium. Available in roll widths of 420mm, 1m and 1.2m.
* Standard at 0.13mm thick. This thickness is more suitable for frequent commercial or domestic use, where tools and utensils are used such as in commercial applications, for the home BBQ, or as a baking sheet in your commercial or domestic oven. These are ideal for use on flat surfaces which are subject to high use and abuse. Available in roll widths 400, 420, 500, 600mm, and 1m wide depending.
* Heavy Duty with 0.25mm thickness. Heavy Duty fabric is used to line commercial ovens, or for protecting crafting tables. Available in 400 or 800mm width.
Silver Bake
Our second most popular material type is our Silver Bake material. It is a similar material to the Sure Non-Stick Original, however it is of a dark charcoal or glossy black colour. Please note, exact colour varies with each production run sometimes a silver fleck is visible. Silver Bake is still a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coated fiberglass matting, it has slightly better heat conductivity and stain resistance, than Sure Non-Stick Original. Silver Bake is also suitable for high use applications, and suitable for thermal applications like baking sheets, transfer presses, and many more applications such as gluing, painting and craft mats. Silver Bake also has the durability to last over many uses, and again, exact reusable lifespan depends on how and what the product is used for. Recommended operating temperature ranges are from -40c0 to 260c0.
This material is available in 2 grades:-
* Fine being 0.08mm thick fabric. It is more flexible and is semi-transparent in appearance. Ideal for lining baking tins and as a tracing medium. Available in widths 480mm and 1m
* Standard at 0.13mm thick. This thickness is more suitable for frequent commercial or domestic use, where tools and utensils are used such as in commercial applications, for the home BBQ, or as a baking sheet in your commercial or domestic oven. These are ideal for use on flat surfaces which are subject to high use and abuse. Available in 1m wide rolls.
Sure Mesh
This is a 4x4mm square 1mm thick, fiberglass mesh coated with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This material is excellent for use in air-ovens for crisping food, or in dehydrators as air is able to flow unimpeded around the food. Also suitable for belting. Recommended operating temperatures are from -40c0 to 260c0. Tensile strength is 395/370N/cm. Maximum roll width is 1015mm.
Pure PTFE
This product is made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin with no added recycled material and it also contains no fiberglass matting . It is extremely chemical resistant, serves as an electrical insulator, and retains flexibility in low temperatures. Recommended operating temperatures are from -40c0 to 260c0.
This material is available in 3 grades:-
* Lightweight being 0.04mm thick, delicate enough for fine jobs, while retaining excellent non-stick properties. Available in widths up to 285mm wide. This item is currently in stock, yet not in our shop, if you would like further information please contact us.
* Standard at 0.4mm thick and is what we make our famous domestic and small industrial Ironzall iron slippers from. Available in 285mm wide rolls. We welcome any enquiries from you if you have other needs.
* Heavy Duty. This is our thickest material at 0.75mm and is best suited for Industrial applications. Currently made into Industrial iron slippers, like all our material types, if you have a different requirement, please contact us and we will provide you with a quote. Roll widths are 300mm. Limited stocks are carried of this material type.
